One of the main differences were the prices. Another was the selections. Where now you can go to SuperWal-Mart or Super K-Mart and eat a meal, buy your groceries, buy your meats, buy some hardware, some clothes and house wares. Back then you had to go to a different store for each category.

Yes sir, back in the old days when everyone used straight razors or safety razors many men used a shaving cream. Burma Shave was a popular brand.

Their main advertising campaign consisted of a set of 5 or 6 related signs with a small, usually funny poem, but the last sign always said "Burma Shave". Everyone in the car kept a close watch out for the Burma Shave Signs
